About this club



The GTCAHC was founded in the early 1970's and many of the original members are still active in the club today.


We serve the Minneapolis/St Paul area and the surrounding communities, as well as adjacent states that do not have an Afghan Hound Specialty club.


We are a club with many areas of interest in the dog world. Our members train and compete in a variety of areas and many of our dogs hold titles in more that one area:


But most of all they are loved members of our family.


We also work with the Afghan Hound Club of America on Rescue issues.


Monthly Membership Meetings are currently being held by "Zoom". They are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm. Please contact our Corresponding Secretary if you would like to be included.
